Overnight Pet Sitting:
The pet sitter agrees to provide overnight care, including feeding, walking, and basic hygiene for the pet(s). Any additional services — such as administering medication, extra grooming, or additional walks — must be agreed upon in advance.
Dog Walking and Pet Visits:
Walks and visits are conducted according to the agreed schedule. Walkers will not let dogs off-lead unless prior permission has been given and the dog’s recall is reliable.
Invoices are issued at the end of each month and must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.
Payments accepted: Bank transfer or cash. Bank details are provided on the invoice.
Cash payments must be made before or immediately after the service.
The owner must confirm their preferred payment method during consultation and on the information form.
A £5 per day late fee applies for overdue invoices.
Services will be suspended after 5 days of non-payment.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
This deposit is refundable only if the sitter secures another booking to replace the original (pro-rata based on the new booking’s length).
Full payment is required if cancellation occurs 48 hours or less before the start date.
For bookings longer than 10 days, 50% of the total is due if cancelled 5 days or less before the start date.
If the owner returns home early, full payment still applies.
Bookings up to 7 days will be invoiced at the end of the month (payment due as stated on the invoice).
Bookings over 7 days must be paid in full by the last day of the booking.
Payment methods: Bank transfer or cash (bank details on invoice).
Cash must be paid before the sit or upon sitter’s departure.
The owner must specify their preferred payment method during consultation.
Overnight Sits:
Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to partial or full payment.
Deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement booking is secured.
Dog Walks:
Same-day cancellations or aborted visits (e.g., sitter unable to access property) are charged at full rate.
Pets must be in good health, free from contagious illness, and up to date with vaccinations.
The owner must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural issues, or special needs before booking.
The provider/sitter is not liable for any pre-existing health conditions that worsen during care.
Owners must supply suitable equipment: leads, harnesses, ID tags, muzzles (if required).
Dogs that require muzzles must be muzzle-trained.
The owner must provide emergency contact details and veterinarian information before the service begins.
In an emergency, if the sitter/walker cannot reach the owner or emergency contacts, they will follow the vet’s advice and proceed with treatment at the owner’s expense.
The owner must provide keys or access codes for the home if the pet is to be picked up or cared for at home.
The sitter/walker will not allow anyone access to the home without the owner’s permission.
The owner must inform the provider of any persons entering the property during the booking (e.g., neighbours, family, cleaners).
For overnight stays, the home must be at a reasonable cleanliness level.
The owner must provide clean bed sheets or ensure they are placed on the bed before the sit.
No cameras are permitted in bedrooms or bathrooms.
The owner must inform the sitter of any cameras in the home.
For comfort and privacy, indoor cameras in main living areas may be covered or turned away during overnight stays.
The provider may take necessary safety precautions (e.g., temporary locks or security measures).
Services may be terminated immediately if:
The pet behaves dangerously
The environment is unsafe
Terms and conditions are breached
No refunds will be given in these cases.
The owner is responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pet to the provider, their property, or others.
The sitter/walker is not liable for damages caused by the pet to the owner’s property.
The sitter/walker will use reasonable care and leave the home as found.
They are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or incidents beyond their control.
During overnight sits, pets will not be left alone for more than 5 hours.
The sitter will ensure pets’ needs are met — including feeding, walking, and bathroom breaks.
For dog walks, the walker will ensure the pet’s post-walk needs are met (e.g., water, treats).
Dogs will only be let off-lead with prior permission and when safe to do so.
Dog walking time begins when the walker unlocks the door and ends when it is locked again after the walk.
Dogs will not be walked in temperatures above 23°C or below -4°C.
Alternative arrangements will be discussed during extreme weather.
Agreed time slots may vary due to traffic or unforeseen delays.
Walkers aim to arrive within a 30-minute window before or after the scheduled time and will notify owners of any changes.
Owners may request updates and photos during or after any service.
The provider is not responsible for interruptions due to uncontrollable events (e.g., extreme weather, emergencies).
Alternative care arrangements will be discussed if needed.
Services may be terminated if the owner breaches any terms, including:
Failure to disclose behavioural or health issues
Denied property access
Unsafe environment or poor property standards
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
The owner may be liable for additional costs (e.g., emergency pet care).
The owner or emergency contact will be notified, and responsibility for the pet(s) will be transferred to the emergency contact.
Services may continue at the sitter’s discretion depending on breach severity.
Legal action may be taken if the breach causes harm or risk to the provider or animals in care.
The sitter/walker holds a valid DBS check and pet sitting insurance.
These documents are available for review upon request.
The owner must read, understand, and agree to all terms before any booking.
By booking or using the service, the owner confirms agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
